Bruce established bph legal in response to a need to provide legal services to several market areas. He has an honours degree in law from the University of Technology, Sydney and a Master of Law and Management from the University of New South Wales. He was admitted as a legal practitioner to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 1996. In the past two years he has provided clients with solutions to legal problems and provided advice to small to medium businesses and similar clients.
Bruce has a 'hands-on' approach to the provision of legal advice to small to medium sized business due to the fact that he has owned and operated several small businesses himself. He is acutely aware of the current challenges facing his clients and provides a flexible avenue to the delivery of his services. This formulation includes on-site consultations, competitive pricing and certainty on turnaround times.
Bruce has an interest in Entertainment Law with several entertainers and actors as clients of the firm. He has an interest in the areas of business restructuring and asset protection for clients nearing retirement. As a former Detective Sergeant in the New South Wales Police Fraud Squad. Bruce has a vast amount of experience and ‘know how’ on methods to protect client's identity, assets and reputation.
Bruce has just completed a Master of Arts (Philosophy with Merit) at the University of Sydney. At times he has performed work as an 'occasional academic' in tertiary institutions and for major corporates.
Abla joined bph legal from an accounting firm dealing with small to medium businesses. Abla, or Abbey as she is affectionately known around the office has a vast amount of experience in owning and running small businesses. In fact she holds senior positions in a number of family businesses dealing in diverse areas as commercial fishing and property development.
Abbey has a solid background in all the major financial programs to assist small business, in particular MYOB and she has a thorough understanding of small business compliance including setting up basic financial management systems for easy compliance with BAS and other government compliance requirements.
Abbey is a native of the Middle East and her parents originate from Palestine, she is a fluent Arabic speaker with very close family and cultural connections. Abbey is an active participant in the local Arabic culture through church and family.
Maria has a background in financial administration and management, in particular the mortgage and finance industries. Maria has worked in the legal industry on a part-time basis for the last two years and she has a very strong customer service background. Maria intends to study and further her career in the legal services areas.
Maria has a background in corporate event management and functions. Maria has a passion for the entertainment industry and organising corporate events; she counts a number of personal friends and associates within the entertainment industry. Maria enjoys travel and meeting new and friendly people.
John Snell (Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business Administration) has
been Admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW since 2007.
Being brought up in a business background, John has experience in Criminal
and Civil Laws specialising in Intellectual Property and Commercial
Litigation. John has experience in all Courts of NSW including The Court
of NSW, The Industrial Relations Tribunal (NSW), The Supreme Court of NSW
and as appeared in many Local Courts including the Downing Centre,
Waverley, and Sutherland.

combining his business background and his vast legal experience to achieve
pragmatic and timely solutions
